Having just finished watching the season 5 finale, I am left with a sad yet satisfied feeling about how the show ended. There were tears, happiness, sadness, emotions were up and down like a rollercoaster towards the end of the show. And also a sense of warm satisfaction that the show ended the way it did. The Duffer brothers have done this well, a masterpiece of an ending.
Stranger Things didn’t just close a story — it honored one. Season 5 reminds us why this series mattered from the very beginning: not because of monsters or alternate dimensions, but because of friendship. Real, messy, brave friendship.
The final moments feel earned. Every sacrifice, every fight, every impossible choice leads back to the same truth — no one survives alone. The characters grow, stumble, and change, but they never stop choosing each other. That loyalty is what makes the ending so powerful and so emotional.

And now, it’s time to start again, to watch this fantastic show from the very beginning all over again. This has gone down as one of the best TV shows I have ever had the privilege of watching, and I don’t want it to end. I want to see all the great moments again and share the adventure once more.
This show deserves many awards. I hope to see a lot more of this show in the future, and just like the ending, this show’s influence is not over yet. Just yesterday, my 11-year-old daughter said she wants to watch it. I hope there are many more like her who were too young to watch the first time around, and who keep this show and its message of friendship around for a long time to come.
